Time displays and clocks are very common as live graphics overlays. Use the World Time Widget to create your desired time display or clock.

To learn how to add a Widget to your Composition, click here.

Remember, any underlined widget properties can be connected to a Control Node or a Data Node.

Property Settings

As seen above, select the "World Time" tab in the Property Panel to update this widget's following property types: Properties.

Properties

Screen_Shot_2020-01-07_at_1.30.30_PM.png

Two-Digit - Enabling Two-Digit format

Time Format - Select either 24Hrs or 12Hrs format

Time Zone - Select your time zone

Select composition - Select the "Edit" button to dig into the Subcomposition of the Widget. This is where you can build your time elements. Once clicked, add your time elements and link each object to the related Widget Node. Hours object should be linked to the Hours Widget Node, Minutes object to the Minutes Widget node, etc.

Note

Time visualization does not end with a simple text display of mins/hours/secs. The world Time Widget can be linked to any graphic objects and supports any animation. Time progress can be nicely displayed as animated in circles, scaling bars, or flashing dots. Or simply as the handles of an analog clock. All objects and animation types are supported!
